What we do here is somewhat unique among dental offices because we have an
in-office lab that me, myself, and one of the dentists here is actually in
charge of. When we take our impressions of the implants or the teeth,
naturally what happens in your average dental office is you put that
impression in a box, you put in some tools and you send it off to a lab. It
just comes back, and you get your teeth back. You might have a conversation
with them, but you're not really hands-on with the work.
Here, since we feel that the end results with a smile is so important and
the end result of the function is so important we want to have our hands
right on it. We want to make sure it's done up to our standards, up to our
efficiency and speed and exactness of how we want the teeth to end up.
So that same impression that another dentist would box up and put in a lab,
I take that back to my lab and I start working on it. I design from scratch
where the teeth start from the implant up all the way to their biting
surface as it relates to the whole smile. That hands-on approach is how we
deliver the type of smile that we want to.
