Dr. Jason Hecht: What's important is how someone feels about their own
smile because how someone feels about their own smile will project into how
they interact with other people.
Dr. Alex Hecht: When implants came about, it's just an incredible
experience. These patients that were here today, that's the regular stuff.
Those people are just so happy and you're, of course, so happy for them
because you know you can deliver.
Joe: I don't think anybody else could have done the job as good as they
did. If I had to do it all over again, I would come back here. We
recommended a couple of our friends to come down here. They were more than
satisfied with the work.
Carmela: But they gave him a new smile and a new reason to live. He had
false teeth on his bottoms. They did his implants. They gave him a new step
in his walk, and they made him a younger man.
Dr. Jason Hecht: So whether it's with implants, whether it's with fillings,
whether it's with veneers, it's all about creating that smile for them.
Dr. Alex Hecht: And the patients are told right off the bat that this is
going to be a two-doctor team that's going be to be working on you. We
don't tell them that he's going to do the implants, and I'm going to do the
prosthetics or vice versa. Whoever's available at whatever time and that's
what makes things work out so well.
Dr. Jason Hecht 1: It's like I got a fast forward in the world of dentistry
compared to any other dentist graduating around my age where they would
just be thrust into the field without any real world experience. I have
behind me someone with 30-35 years of experience in the dental field.
And in addition to all the technical knowledge and technical know-how that
I learned from him, what I additionally learned from that is customer care
that he has such a strong natural understanding for. He will basically
promise the impossible. He will promise that they will have beautiful teeth
by the time their daughter's getting married.
Dr. Alex Hecht: And that happens on a regular basis, actually.
Dr. Jason Hecht: Almost every few weeks. Oh, my son's getting married. My
daughter's getting married. I need new beautiful teeth by then. And somehow
we figure out a way together and we deliver that. And they might get it the
morning of the wedding. They might get it the day before the wedding, just
on time. We'll even come in on the weekends to get to them on time and pull
up that miracle for these people. So it's that old world customer care that
he's brought with him to the practice that I've learned from that has
really been an amazing thing.
Dr. Alex Hecht: The reason we can deliver cases so quickly is because he
does part of the lab work in-house here.
Dr. Jason Hecht: Being on the cusp of that new technology interested me. In
being able to use and learn and work with all these new technologies on a
daily basis was something that really interested me. So it's something that
both of us have a passion with and that we try to bring into the practice
on a regular basis.
Dr. Alex Hecht: Patients that come to us and get this specialized type
treatment have family, and they see what our abilities are with real
difficult cases. So obviously, that translates into superb ability in doing
regular stuff.
Joe: I can't say enough about these guys. They did a wonderful, wonderful
job. And the staff, of course. Their support staff is unbelievable.
Dr. Jason Hecht: They tell us, like, you changed my life. They tell us that
everything is different for me.
Dr. Alex Hecht: And it's, like, all the time. It's not like a unique thing,
like once in a while. This is an art. Doing dentistry is an art. It's not a
mechanical something. Part of it, yes, it's mechanical, but the final
outcome has to look good. The patient has to smile, and they have to be
happy with the way they look.
